SCHWEGO® mar 8306

Slip additive for solvent borne coating systems

Chemical base: Modified polysiloxane
Properties: The addition of SCHWEGO mar 8306 to conventional coating Systems confers an improvement of mar and scratch resistance, increased resistance to blocking and as a consequence of the improved slip an increase in hardness. The sensivity to air draughts when sprayed or poured is reduced. The tendency to dirt retention is diminished and disposition to foaming is reduced. SCHWEGO mar 8306 does not influence gloss.
Applications: SCHWEGO mar 8306 is mainly used in conventional air drying and stoving finishes as wood and metal coatings. Because of its composition SCHWEGO mar 8306 can be used in most binder systems. Particularly in 2pack polyurethane systems and industrial stoving coatings.
