SCHWEGO® protect 8186

Roller protecting agents for sheet-fed and web offset

Function:   Ink rollers which are not inked or only partially inked up during production printing (½ or ¾ web width) are subject to a strong mechanical stress by friction. SCHWEGO® protect will offer an effective protection against wear and tear and any damage to the press rollers.

  • Keeps the roller surface in good condition
  • Does not form any sticky residues
  • No swelling or shrinking of the rollers
  • No need for certification
     
Application:   SCHWEGO® protect 8186/8187 is applied on the non-printing areas of the rollers depending on the mechanical strain.

SCHWEGO® protect 8186 as gel is suitable for manual application on the rollers.

SCHWEGO® protect 8187 is liquid and can be applied depending on the operation possibility even during production printing by means of a spray head bottle.
 
Storage:   Subject to appropriate storage, the described properties of SCHWEGO® protect remain stable for at least 24 months.
