SCHWEGO® mat 8449

Blanket and roller washing solutions for web offset
Function:   SCHWEGO® mat 8449 | 8450 are special washing agents on mineral oil basis for cleaning blankets, ink rollers, spindles and similar devices. They are also excellently suitable for use with automatic blanket washers in coldset printing as well as spindle and ink fountain washers or similar by their convincing cleaning effect and material compatibility.

SCHWEGO® mat 8449 | 8450 are three variations which will differ only concerning their flash point (see chapter flash point).
     
Properties:  
  • Very good flow off behavior of the cleaning sludge with automatic blanket washers
  • Very good cleaning effect on blankets and ink rollers
  • Can be mixed with water
  • Effective protection from corrosion
  • Suitable for all blanket washers in coldset printing with separate water supply
  • Can also be used in ink fountain washing units, Spindle cleaning devices or similar
  • Can be filtered, distilled and recycled
  • Certified by BG ETEM as "low emission product"
  • SCHWEGO® mat 8449 | 8450 have been tested and approved in accordance with the specifications of leading machine manufacturers
     
Flash point:   SCHWEGO® mat 8449 abt. 81° C
SCHWEGO® mat 8450 > 100° C VOC-free

The flash point is the lowest temperature at which inflammable vapours which might inflame by spark ignition will develop from a liquid under determined conditions. The lower the flash point, the faster the applied washing solution will evaporate.
     
Storage:   Subject to appropriate storage, the described properties of SCHWEGO® mat 8448 – 8450 remain stable for at least 24 months.
