SCHWEGO® eco fount HS

Fountain additive for heatset printing
Function:   SCHWEGO® eco fount HS was developed for the extensive requirements and possibilities of heatset printing. This fountain additive is especially suitable for machines on which various paper grades are used. Depending on the machine configuration and technical conditions, SCHWEGO® eco fount HS will also ensure printing without isopropyl alcohol (IPA).

Properties:  
  • Convincing production printing properties especially with B-stock-paper grades
  • Defined adjustment of the surface and interfacial surface tension
  • Special wetting agents ensure a reduction of the water and ink flow
  • Optimized emulsifying behaviour with LWC and B-stock-ink
  • Excellent anti-linting behaviour (reduces lint build-up)
  • Reducing of feed-back to fountain rollers
  • Suitable for CTP-plates
  • Stable adjustment of the pH-value
  • Fast running-free behaviour
  • Checked and released according to the default settings of the machine builders
     
Quantity to add:   SCHWEGO® eco fount HS is added to the water with a ratio of 2-3%.
     
Storage:   Storage not under 5 °C.

Subject to appropriate storage, the described properties of SCHWEGO® eco fount HS remain stable for at least 12 months.
