Function:   Anti set-off powders is an important quality criterion in the printing process of sheet-fed offset printing. They fulfil the task of separating the paper sheets and preventing this way the setting off of fresh ink on the back side of the following printed sheet. WIRBELWIND 8162 C suitable for substrates weighing between 250 and 500 g/m².
     
Properties:  
  • The optimum flow property ensures minimum powder application with a high operating range
  • The soft and smooth surface of the starch grain prevents a sandpaper effect
  • Generally recognized as safe for health, can be used for producing food packages
  • Also suitable for varnishing and laminating jobs
  • Insensitive to humidity as not hygroscopic
     
Application:   Our WIRBELWIND printing powders are suitable for all types of sheetfed offset printing - including use with water-based coatings.
     
     
Tip:
  Subject to appropriate storage, the described properties of WIRBELWIND remain stable for at least 24 months.
