SCHWEGO® foam 8339

Defoamer for water-based coating systems, free of VOC

Chemical base: Formulation of a polysiloxanadduct and special modified alcohols
Properties: SCHWEGO foam 8339 has a spontaneous deaearation at the coating of the paint. Seperation of the defoamer is not visible in non - pigmented systems. SCHWEGO foam 8339 has no negative influence on the gloss.
Applications: SCHWEGO foam 8339 can be used in all aqueous coating formulations. Main application field are non- or low- pigmented systems as parquet floorings, furniture coatings, high gloss emulsion paints, wood coatings, industrial coatings and printing inks based on fine size acrylic emulsions, polyurethane emulsions, hybrid formulations, alkyd emulsions, aqueous two pack polyurethane emulsions and UV – dispersions.

Processing: SCHWEGO foam 8339 can be added at all steps of the production from the paint. Post addition is possible too, if SCHWEGO foam 8339 is homogeneously distributed. The dosage of SCHWEGO foam 8339 is 0.1 - 0.7 % calculated on total coating system.
Storage: Store SCHWEGO foam 8339 between 10 – 40°C. Do not store SCHWEGO foam 8339 at temperatures below -10°C. Stir it up before use. Keep it in a cool, well-ventilated place.

Subject to appropriate storage, the described properties of SCHWEGO foam 8339 remain stable for at least 12 months, provided the orginal container is closed after use.
